305's or 315's ?

I have a 2001 Super Crew and will be buying some new tires soon. Before I buy new tires I will raise the front of my truck about 1.5" with adjusting the torsion bars. ? is should I buy
305-70-17's or 315-70-17's ? Does anyone know about what size both of theese tires would be in inches?? Also, I dont want any tire rubbing.

305's are roughly 33x12.50
315's are roughly 35x12.50

With only 1.5" of lift, the 315's might rub. The 305's will work fine tho.

Who makes a 305 70 17?

i dont think that you are gonna be able to even fit 305s without rubbing. if i were you i would go with 295s.

My 305's rub but only in reverse. I have Cooper Discoverer A/T's

The 315s will not fit! Even with a 3" lift, the 315s are pretty tight

I have 33x12.50x16.5's on my 01 SCrew. I had to trim the valance just a little. You can fit 35's on stock rims with minor trimming, but it isn't recommended. And I know several people with 3" body lifts and 35's that their tires don't rub at all. Just depends on your truck cause every truck sits a little different from the factory. Here are some pics of my truck. www.fordtruckworld.com/bccromer

My 305's don't rub at all on my 2001 Screw.

I'm running 305/70/17 Goodyear MTR's on my 02 Screw FX4...Moved torsion bars and they still rubbed slightly...Slight trim and now they never rub, full lock or compression...305 look sweet too...

I have the GY 305/70/17 MT/R's on my stock sawblade rims. No rubbing, trimming or cranking of torsion bars. Excellent size and great looks.
