Need help on brake sensor

I need some help on changing out a brake sensor. The sensor I am tlaking about is the one that sits on the top of the master cylinder in the very front. According to Ford it is calleda speed control deactivator sensor, according to Haynes or Chiltons it's called a brake pressure sensor.

Either way mine is shot as it's pushing brake fluid back up through it (must have a busted diaphram). I have new one (only $18) but wondered if I'll have to bleed the brake system in anyway after I pull the old one off. I would hate to pull the whole MC to bleed it all again. I have helped change out brake lines before without a rebleed by holding the pedal. Any hep?

CRUISE CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH

THIS IS AN EASY SWITCH TO REPLACE, JUST UNSCREW IT AND INSTALL THE NEW ONE, NO AIR WILL GET IN THE SYSTEM. THIS IS A REDUNDANT SWITH FOR THE CRUISE CONTROL JUST INCASE THE BOO( BRAKE ON OFF) SWITCH FAILS

Man, this post saved me! The sensor is sold with a pig tail now. I picked it up at the dealer for $14. Put it on in 5 min, no more leak, and the crusie is back!

speed control deactivator sensor / brake pressure sensor

My sensor is also leaking as well. Coincidentally, my cruise control just quit working out of the blue. Does this sensor work with the cruise control system? If it is leaking (i.e. leaking fluid out of the top), will that cause the cruise to cease working?
