Highest truck?
I think so far mine is the tallest here, 4" Rancho suspension lift, 3" body lift, 2" more in the front with custom 1 ton Chevy torsion bars installed. Also 39x15R16.5 MT Baja Belts on 16.5x12 Weld rims. I wish I knew how to post a pic here but in the meantime click on the gallery link. More pics coming soon!
Hey kev sweet truck. How did ya get the 12.5" tires to fit on the factory rims. Are the factory rims 8" wide or em I missing something. If 35 by 12.5 thornbirds will fit on factory 17" rims will they also fit on 16" rims. Or better yet anyone have the 17" rims forsale???? Then I could keep my 16" rims for snow tires.
All sweet trucks cause they're fords!!!!!!
Thanx

I had a friend who put 325/60R15 BFG all terrains on a factory 15x7 Dodge rims. The 13" wide tires are not recommended for less than 8" wide rims, but they fit. It did not look nearly as wide and mean as when he got some 15x10 rims later on! I do know the diameter has to be the same though, you can't put a 17" diameter tire on a 16" diameter wheel!
You can fit these tires on a 7.5" rim no problem. Even 4wheelparts did a test on the 33/12.5/17 Procomp mudterrain on a stock f-150 wheel (7.5") and the outcome was that it is ok to use. The 35" tire is actually a little better because it is taller.
One tire shop gave me hell on installing these tires on these rims but then again they said that they would not install any tire on that rim besides the factory size. So I took it to a 4x4 shop and they put them on no questions asked.
I have 20,000 miles on the truck since the lift and tires and have no problems whatsoever. The truck handles great too.

I know a guy in New Orleans, Joe, I think he has a 5" suspension lift, 3" body, and 40" tires. Here is a pic of his truck. Oh and it was a 4x4 to start. I 6 feet tall, and when I stand next to the bed, I cant see over it, so it is big.

sweet truck, if it has a 5 inch susp lift, 3 inch body and 40 inch tires it would be the same height as mine in the front, I have a nine inch lift in the front with 39 inch tires. Either way white 4x4's rule!
Do you have nay more pics? I would like to see the front end, since I am planning on changing out mine to the newer 99-up style.
We'll have a look at my truck guys
