anyonye have 315/75/16 on a stock...

anyonye have 315/75/16 on a stock supercrew 4x4? they are 34.7" tall. i have heard they will fit with very minor modification. i was going to put them on a set of AR baja's...i am concerned about them rubbing during off-road use...any comments?

they will fit on the stock wheels but not aftermarket. Adjust the torsion bars, and trim a little and they will fit because they aren't wide on the stock wheels, but if you stick anything 8" or beyond on there, you'll want to lift it. You might not rub going in a straight line, but you will at the slightest compressed turn. Before i bought new wheels and tires, I looked at this possibility, and they fit on the truck at stock height, but it rubbed without compression. Any wider however and the tires actually hit the fender more...hope this helps...

THANKS FOR THE INFO....

It sounds like the BF Goodrich AT 295/75/16 on the AR Bajas may be a safer alternative. My stock wheels are 17", so I don't have the other option you mentioned above. Besides, if they would be that tight, I bet they would rub real bad in off-road use. Thanks!
