Question New tires

I have a set of Hoosier 245/75R16's on my 97' F-150. They are sport tires, which I can't stand being on a 4x4, even though they are great on gas mileage. I was wondering what bigger more aggressive looking tires I can put on there. Something with bigger treads and helps me in the fields. Oh and I'd like to keep the price reasonable.

I recently put the Hoosier Radial D/Ts on my truck. They are considerably more aggressive, but noisier too. They cost $119/ tire for a total of almost $600 w/ m&B and road hazard warranty. I have the 265/70/17, which jacks the cost up over your tire size.

I'm guessing you've got new body style. With a 4x4 and all the trucks I've seen that are 4x4, I'd settle for nothing less than a 285/75/16 if you want an off road tire.
