Spongy brakes

I have a 99 F150 and af brakes ter I drove a friends F150 I thought my brakes seemed stange. Then I have my truck into Ford for a oil change, they wrote it up saying that the brakes seemed spongy. So I had it in the other day and they told me the brakes were fine. On a normal stop, my brake pedal gets pretty close to the floor. Anyone ever experience this? Or know what it may be? Thanks, Eric

If not fluid change, check your flexible brake hoses. If it's still spongy replace the brake hoses with stainless braided ones for tighter pedal feel. Sometimes part of the pedal drop is the anti-lock taking over.
