My head is spinning w/tire numbers

Ok, need some help here on all the tire numbers.

I will be getting a new SCrew FX4 with p265x70x17 stock tires. After a lot of looking and reading here is what I would like some opinions on, pro and or con.

Which would you guys recommend and why? Anything else to consider?

1. 305x70x16 speedo will be 3.8% too slow
2. 285x70x16 speedo will be .3% too slow
3. 285x70x17 speedo will be 3.5 too slow
4. 305x70x17 speedo will be a full 7% too slow

the wheel sixe will not change the speedo just the tire size...if the tire size stays the same and the wheel size changes then the speedo will not change....i know i said the same thing twice....

I would go with a 16" wheel..........(1) It will be ALOT CHEAPER when you decide to purchase wheels and or tires. (2) You will have a ton more selections of both in that size.

I think the 285/70/16 looks great........or you can go with the 305 but you'll have to raise the torsion bars a hair and maybe trim you lower valance in the front.

If you go with the 17"s you be paying some $$$$

I went with the 305/70/16 and really like them. The trimming at the front of the wheel well is easy. But, going with new wheels and tires is a lot more expensive than just changing the wheels.

My head is spinning too but, it's smaller than yours so I think it's spinning faster.
