My brakes went crazy yesterday. I went to stop when I was leaving my driveway and my pedal started shaking. I lost stopping power and it made a weird noise. It felt like my abs was kicking in, but I was only going 5 m.p.h. Anyone know what is up.

Pull the front calipers off and check the pads. I had a pad snap in half once and it did pretty much what you described, there was some vibration, some squeeling, and the pedal dropped to the floor, after that it was fine but i decided to check the brakes and found the broken pad.
