Alot of questions
I recently bought a very nice 98f150 lxt sxt model with the nice grille insert and roll pan, it is black by the way. My questions are these. I want to lift the body three inches and keep the 17 inch rims that are on there standard, all I would need to purchase is bigger tires because a 3 inch lift would make these tires look like they belong on a hyundai.
so can anyone tell me how much I am lookin at spending for the lift and the labor, plus four 17 inch big tires? thanks fro the info, I am new to trucks.

Hey
First, welcome to the board. Im sure your enjoying your new truck. Personally I have seen trucks with 17's and a 3" body lift and they do not look bad at all. I on the other hand like aggresive tires so I would change the tires for that 1 reason alone. Are you mechanically inclined? If you are, save yourself anywhere from 300 to 500 bucks installation. Have some buddies/ brothers or relatives over and have a go at it on the weekend. It really isnt hard and the directions are great and very easy to follow. It will tak any where from 8-12 hours. The body lift should be only PA(Performance accessories). Do not buy any other brand. It will cost you about 120 for the lift and you will want to buy the wheel flaps to cover the space between the bed and the frame. Those are about 60 bucks. The tires are not to expensive... Depending on your gearing, 33's or 35's. 35's if you have atleast 3.73's but I would highly recommend 4.10's. Those will run you around 550 for non-aggressive to about 650 for aggresive.
