Brake squeal, and pluse.
I have a 98 4x4 just turned 40,000. I have a pulse ever time i break and it squeals like crazy from the front left wheel. So I thought i had a warped front rotor, so i changed that out, and it seemed not to pluse as much for a while but still squealed. After maybe 2 or 3 weeks the pulse was back. So i changed the caliper too and that had no effect. That wheel also is the only wheel that is collecting a crap load of brake dust. I just noticed the other day i could also hear a small squeal when not brakeing its like once ever rotion on the wheel. Please help me out im stumped thankx
Sounds like there is something wrong in the hydraulic system causing that front brake to drag, and heat up the rotor. You may have to take it in to a dealer ship, they have pressure gauges they can hook up to pinpoint the problem.

I have similar problem with an Explorer ,
Check out this link , After replacing both rotors and pads, it turned out to be the broken ABS speed sensor and ring .

I went to change the brakes on it sunday, after about a month of looking at it last i took the brake pads off and 1 side of the break was gone!!!!! It was like one pad feel off, the other side was perfectly fine!! There was still a good chunk of pas when i looked at it last werid huh, and not to say it ate the **** outta my new rotor. Well i hope it was just the pad, put some auto zone semi carbins on it and seems to be doin good. Hope this is it
