BFG Mud Kings

BFG Mud Kings
Hey fellas-
I just found a set of 265/75/16 BFG Mud Kings, double-studded, 2 years old for sale @ $50.00/tire. The guy says they have about 10K on them. A few questions:
Does anyone have any experience with these tires?
How is the road noise?
How are these different from the Mud Terrains?
Will they be a good snow and ice tire?
I live in Alaska and frequently find myself tearing up mountain roads after fresh dumps to get to the powder stashes first. Let me know what you think.
Am taking a look at them around 1pm.
Thanks

i had a set of the mud kings one time and was told bfg made them, also. although, we all know who makes bfg's, right? not a bad tire for the money. they are actually made by Cavalier tire company, i don't know who owns this company. i can get the 265's here for $107/tire. $50 is not a bad price, just check for chunking on the lugs. the set i had was terrible for leaving lug rubber lying around. good luck, Rich.
