Does anyone have a set of 99-00 L or 01 L wheels on a truck like mine. Without the truck being lowered. I was just wondering what the 18" wheels look like without a truck beeing lowered. Which do you think would look better the Silver or Chrome wheels.

 

The 2001 Lighting looks like it has undersized wheels with the 18"ers and the low profile's. If you run normal sized tires and not low-pros it would look great. The 2002 Lighthing will be lowered an inch which will hopefully make it look better. The F-150 just has massive wheel wells for low-pro rubber on 18's.

I have 285/55/18 tires not the L standard 295/45/18. They are a little bit taller and I didn't want to lower my truck.

Chipper, I noticed you live in OKC, I am at collage at OSU. I drive through the City on the way home. Your truck looks good, I think I am going to get the chrome 01 wheels, with the taller tire size like you and Whiplash_F150 suggested.
