Black Wheels?

What do you all think about black wheels on a 4x4? I was thinking about maybe picking some up along with the new BFG mudders in 33x12.5x16.5.

I know that they would be steel, but I dont do any crazy wheeling so I am not super worried.

Thanks in advance.

A lady friend has some American Racing aluminum wheels that have black in the center section on an 1988 F-150 4 X 4 with some huge tires. Looks good (so does she).

IMO I think that some steel white spokes would look good on there. If you want either the white or black check out Rock Crawler wheels. They sell them at 4wheelparts.com

I looked at your pics[nice truck] but I dont know about black steel wheels. Polished alloys would make it look so much better. eagle 589's look really good. All that really matters though is what you like, right?

i like the black steel rims because they give trucks that rugged 4x4 look, but im not too crazy about them on newer trucks. i think your truck would look better with some polished 589's like footwart said, or another similar rim. just my opinion, hope this helps.

The black wheel look awsome, here is a pic of black wheels on an off-road vehicle. They give the vehicle a unique look. I would try to find a bead-lock look or some beads that are DOT approved.

Thanks fellas. I was just seeing what you all thought of them. Probally will go with the 589s or the Mickey thompson Classic II but I was just wanted a little encouragement.

Hey Cowboy, check out us wheel (http://www.uswheel.com/steel.dll), they have a couple great looking black steel wheels. I have a black and silver Lariat that I was thinking on doing the same.
