How are the Goodyear MT/R in snow???

Winter is approaching fast and I was wondering if anyone has used these in the snow. I like them overall in all other conditions but have not yet tried them in the snow... any input would be appreciated/

Are the Goodyear MT/R's good in the snow?????

In deep snow I sure that they are great, they have huge blocks, that can clean
themselves off.

I'm looking at getting a set, however, I'm concern about there wet pavement traction, and more so their ice traction, tires make a huge difference on ice, and based on my knowledge of tires, these and other "Mud" tires just look like they wouldn't be such a good idea.

I hope someone can help out in greater detail on this subject.

Exclamation I tested them.

Well beleive it or not but I was able to test the MTR's in the snow this past weekend in the "hills" south of Buffalo NY. There was about two and a half to three inches of snow on the ground. I lost no traction coming down some pretty steep hills. I punched it when no one was around and got her to fish tail a little but once i let of the gas, the truck stuck to the road. Overall, i was pretty pleased with them. Also, on very slick wet pavement, I was able to come to a very quick stop when momma deer popped out in front of me and her baby ran along side of me. The baby was the one that surprised me enough that i locked up the tires momentarily. Again, no loss of control and stopped in plenty of time.
