Smile Hit a Brick Wall

Now I have a headache!
I drive a 2014 F150 Limited. My 22 inch wheels now look like excrement because of the common corrosion problem under the clearcoat. Ford told me that they would do nothing...surprise, surprise. I decided to look for some used 20 inch wheels to replace the old 22's and found a great deal on some 2021 King Ranch chrome wheels. Next step is order tires. It was hard finding the right size that wasn't a AT/LT type tire. Walmart ( I hate WM) had a Cooper touring tire for a good price so I ordered them. Circumference and revs per mile were within one percent of oem so there would be no speedo issues. I went to my install appointment this morning and the tech said he could mount and balance the wheels/tires but could not mount them on my truck. They said they could only install the wheel size that was on the door jam sticker. At first I said ok, I would just load them up and install them at home. Then it hit me that the new tpms sensors would not be reprogrammed. Did I say I hate Walmart? Instead I told them to do nothing except load the tires in the back of my truck and I would go elsewhere. I made them well aware of the wheel size difference when I made the appointment. They said no problem. I feel like Charlie Brown after Lucy yanks the football away.
So I go over to Goodyear and ask about installation. They can do it, just not today. Ok,cool, how much for mount, balance? $35 per tire!!! OK how much for new pressure sensors? $100 per wheel!!! Does this sound reasonable?? I have never kept a vehicle long enough to be concerned about my tpms lasting the life of my new tires. Rant over now for my question.

Usually you get what you pay for but is there a reasonably priced tpms system that doesn't break the bank and is reliable? Thanks

Just look online: DE8T-1A180-AA

I do recommend sticking with OEM Motorcraft.

Reuse the sensors you have.

Will be keeping the original tires and wheels for winter use. The sensors will be 8 years old this year so due for replacement anyway.

sensors should not require any programing. They will relearn after a few miles of driving.
