22" rims w/ 305/45 tires

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to know if any of you had installed 22" rims on your trucks. I am in the process of purchasing some 22" rims with 305/45 tires. My question is: Will I run into problems such as the tires rubbing or anything else? Thanks for the help.

Robert

You might want to contact "hdmlnium" in the Lightning forum, he has 22's on his L. I don't have any experience with 22's all I could afford were 20's But I think you might have some problems with the 305's in the front (or at least they are going to stick out from the fender). I'm running 275/45's all around with no problems. BTW what kind of 22's are you going to go with? Can't wait to seem them pics!

I see 22's on trucks all the time, i personally think it's ugly as hell. But i guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion. as far as 22's on front rubbing i dont think so unless the truck is lowerd you'd have some concern, My friend has them on his truck it wasnt lowerd much but he took out the inner wheel well splash guard thing and did some cutting, i dont remember what all he cut away but he did alittle something to it.
