2014 Brake problem

On sons 2014 f150 4wd, right front rotor getting gouged. Replaced caliper, pad and rotor and still have exact same problem. Where do I look next? Brake line? ABS module?

Make sure the pads aren't bound up, they should be able to rattle just a little in the holder. I had some Auto Zoo pads that were too stiff in the hardware and ate the and a rotor in a couple of hundred miles. The tabs on the pads measured about .003 to .005 bigger than the clips they are supposed to slide in. I filed down the new ones and all is fine.

Looks like your caliper slides are sticking? Or just something just ain't right...

I'd take it all apart and check out the slides, pads, rotors, etc...

I did this upgrade a couple of years ago and haven't looked back.. Still the stock calipers and slides, just the Power Stop rotors and pads.

The brakes were done last year. Had no problems until this. We took it all off and back on, still same result. The brake line is in good shape on the outside. I am thinking it must be a bad solenoid valve in the ABS module.

Most brake line issues result from the opposite.

The brake line may be collapsing on the inside.

Did you remove the pins that the caliper slides on, clean, and lubricate them?
