2/3 belltech lowering kit and 285/45-22 tires?

2/3 belltech lowering kit and 285/45-22 tires?
I lowered my KR, and put some 22" limited rims on with 275/45-22's,
one of the tires isn't in the best shape and won't hold air properly,
Is there any reason to believe that a set of 285/45-22's won't fit? They are almost the same size.
