I found an online interchange that says a 17x8 wheel 5 x 5 1/2 wheel fit this truck . Any idea if this is true and what is involved ? What brands would these have to come off of ?

Yes, a 17x8 and you can go from 4.5 to 5.5 offset. (0-20mm is OK).

You will need to make sure the diameter of the tire you choose is close to the final diameter of your stock tire. For example:

Say if your stock tire size is: 235/75R15 and you change your wheel to a 17"er, you should get a 255/60R17 so your speedometer isn't off.

 

I have 31 x 15's on now and they are shot . Old truck is not in the best shape and I was wondering about finding something that would bolt on . What trucks would something like this come off of ?
