Exclamation Rear brake calipers problem!

Dear all:

After checking for a "rattle" in the rear axle, I discovered that both calipers had the mounting screws not only untithgtened but one of was already lost.

I think this is quite unusual in a truck with only 12500 miles!

Local Ford dealer promised to check everything tomorrow morning and I assume is covered by warranty, but I'd appreciate any comment or suggestion.

Regards,

torque them down to spec. That is what is designed to hold them. sounds like someone missed something off the assembly line or dealer service

Thanks for your comments.

The dealer said it was the first time they've seen the problem and did a check-list job and re-torque the bolts.
