Troubleshooting CELs

Hey all,
Since the time I bought my truck('90 lariat) I've had two dashlights constantly on. The ebrake light and rear antilock lights both stay illuminated at all moments.
Now I know that my ebrake isnt hooked up(i followed the lines and see theyve been detached), but would this throw the cel? Also, any suggestions for troubleshooting the rear antilock break light issue?

They had 2 different ways to monitor the rear abs (I think). There may be a wheel speed sensor at both wheels (not sure on that one) or there is a single speed sensor on the diff. This can get a coat of crud on it and not allow it to send the necessary signal to the computer. Take it out and clean it to see if that helps.

As for the E-brake, did you mean the parking brake light is on? If so check the pedal, that is where the switch is.
