Offset Question

Hello,

I currently have some 18x9 Ballistic Anvils with a -12 offset on my expedition. I'm looking to buy some new wheels, specifically the AR897 20x8.5 from American Racing with a +38 offset. I'm concerned that that is too much, so the spokes are so far up front that the lip will rub the fender. I wanted to order this rims with the Tire shops, but they seem to be all out of stock with their suppliers. But I have found some for sale on ebay and other sites. Since I will be buying these myself, I need to know what exactly to look for and what offsets will work with an F150/Expedition. It is a 2015 if you need to know. What other things should I know besides BP? I want to buy the right fitment, so I need to know exactly what to look for.

Thanks,
