New rims help

So I am wondering how wide of rim can I put in my factory height 1997 Ford Expedition, I'm looking to put some 18 in rims. And is it possible to have a negative offset, I am trying to buy rims that will stick out, and lifting is not an option I'm on a budget thanks for your help.

Yes, a 9 or 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 or 5 inches (-25mm or -12mm offset) of backspacing should work fine if you have a 4x4.

Damn I knew it but got me some wheels, still mad that wheel shops kept telling me I had to lift it, and wouldn't sell me it, but got me some 18x10's with a negative 12 offset should arrive in a few weeks thanks.
