Brake wear - more on inside of rotors - normal???

My front rotors and pads have significantly more wear on the inboard side (engine side) than on the outboard side. Both driver side and passenger side are the same.

This is on a 2012 F150 with about 40K miles. Still the original pads and rotors.
It is a SCREW with the 6.5' bed and I tow a 30' camper in the summer, so it sees some heavier than average braking part of the year.

Is this typical for these trucks?

I noticed it when I was changing from snow tires to all-season tires last night. I was really worried at first, but then I checked the other side and both fronts are about the same so then I started to wonder if this was "normal".

Please advise - maybe I should pull them apart and clean/grease the sliders to make sure they are not sticking???

Cleaning the sliders will definitely help. Also remove the stainless sliders and clean the rust that will be underneath them.
