2003 F150 4x4 16x10 4.5 BS Offset?

Hi all,

I have a 2003 F150 and I'm looking for new rims and tires. I'm set on the M/T MTZ but deciding between 285/75R16 or 305/70R16. I'm also deciding between the AR 16x10 or 16x8... My question is on the 16x10 rims. Everything I've seen here says to make sure you have 4.5" backspacing but I'm confused on the offset. I'm looking at AR outlaw IIs and the AR172 Bajas and both say -25mm for offset. I'm nervous this will cause the wheels to stick out to far. I've seen people with similar setups using -11mm offset. Does anyone have 305's on 16x10 with 4.5" BS and -25mm off set? If so can you post some pics...

My suspension is stock with the torsion bars cranked up and I know I'll have to trim the lower front valance for clearance.

Thanks for the help

With a 10 inch wide wheel, 4.5 inches of backspacing equals -25mm offset. This is what you want.

I am also interested in the 16x10 AR baja wheels but I have a rcx 6 in lift on my 02 screw would these wheels work with the lift I have?

As long as they have 4.5" of backspacing or less they'll work with your lift kit.

Since the guys here have always been great to help me out i'll gladly reply since i'm logged on it's been a while LOL!

Yes 16X10 4.5" BS is what you want and a bit of cranking up the torsion bars but i needed to trima bit of the plastics and "clearance" the metal slightly with a hammer

I fit 305/70 16 Goodyear Duratracs on it and it works great i get lots of complements on the set-up but i now wish i went with the black centers instead of all polished (if anyone wants mine i'll sell them to get the blacks if they are still available)
