Need some help with Wheel offset!

I'm looking to buy some 18x9 Method Race Wheels with the +18 offset and 5.75 back spacing. I have a 2.5in leveling kit on the front. The dealer I was gonna order from here locally said the factory said these wheels wouldn't work without a lift kit due to the back spacing of the wheels hitting the calipers. I was unaware of this!! Has anyone ran into this issue? I currently have stock wheels with 295/70/18 Toyo AT 2's. I'm needing some serious help with this before I spend $950 for nothing.

Your stock wheels have 5.5 inches of backspacing so you should be fine with a leveling kit. This is where the confusion is coming from... Some full suspension lift kits won't allow for a wheel with that much backspacing because the tires will hit the lifted knuckles. Keep this in mind if you think you may ever install a full suspension lift.
