Question Upgrade Needed?

Ok, for all of you big bad boys with huge tires, was a brake pad and rotor upgrade recommended to you or what. I have never seen this before in all the forums and heard about something like it today in a chat room. Just wondering if it would be a good idea and if there are any recommendations out there? Thanks, Eric

do you have rear disc? if not, that is the best upgrade for you.

I've got the 4 wheel anti lock disc brakes on my truck. I was wondering if the bigger tires would cause more heat/stress on the brakes enought where an upgrade of the rotor or pads would be needed. Thanks though. Eric

so you have 4 wheel disc?

On the rear disc, they are a solid rotor. Baer my have one that is crossdrilled and slotted to disappate some of the heat built up in them. Up front, beyond cryogenically treated rotors, there is not much of an upgrade. For sure flush the system and get some performance pads.
