2008 fx4 wheels

I have a 2008 FX4 with 20 inch ford wheels on them (275/55r20). If I were to swap to a set of 18 what size tire should I go with. I am thinking about putting a leveling kit on it also.

Hi.

To retain stock diameter (and hence ensuring yer speedo, Odo and shift points remain unpekker'd) you can run 275/65R18's. ( approx 31.9"-32" )

To go up a bit, you can run 285/65R18's, or 275/70R18's

Any more than a 33" tahr and yer going to start to have clearance issues, and yer truck will start to perform like a dawg on valium. Plus - you'll need to correct for diameter changes.

Look at Cooper Discoverer AT/3, ST/MAXX, etc.

You have not said how much of a level ( and I hope you realize the risks & tradeoffs involved in leveling )

PS: Noticed yer a little light on the 'Hello's", "please's" and "thankee's". Is there a problem ? Basic courtesies go a long way here.

Yo. Kiddo. What's the problem?

You ask a question (without any semblance of elemental, intrinsic, basic good manners) on a forum, get a fantastic answer (actually, better than fantastic considering the relative ambiguity of the question), and you still don't thank him for the response?

What planet are you from, kid? Kansas? Because here on Earth (specifically, Tenn'ssee ), we have what we call manners. How it works is like so:

Using words like "please", "thank you", etc when asking a question prompts the reader of said question to think, "Huh. Well, this feller is as lost as a goose in a horse race, but since he's well-mannered, I'll help him."

When a response to the initial question is given, it's customary to say something like "thank you for your help" or "I really appreciate you taking time to answer my question". That lets the person or people who answered your question know that you appreciate them, and they will likely help you again because of the gracious nature in which you conducted yourself.

I know that's a lot to take in at once, but give it time. Study on it, and maybe give it shot. In no time at all, your friends will like you more, girls will begin to notice that you're more than a mouth-breathing knuckle-dragger, your boss (or teachers?) will be impressed, you'll get a pay raise (won't be held back a grade?), you'll look better, feel better, sleep better, and you'll be the envy of everyone at work (at nappy-time?).

Savvy?

I apologize for not saying Thanks-Please and what not. Just answered rather quickly because I jumped on at work.

Sorry and and Thanks for you information. Reason I have not responded back to the other thread is that I am still reading because you posted alot of information I figured I'd read it all before giving a follow up.

So again Thanks for the information you have provided.

I also answered rather quickly cause after reading when he said something about the risks I immediately focused on looking for those.
