Question about using factory Goodyear Wrangler Silent armor spare tire

Hey guys this is kind of a random question. I'm really low on cash at the moment and my truck really needs new tires. My truck is a 2004 (NBS) f150 that came with the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor spare tire from the factory? Is it possible to take the tire off the spare wheel and just buy 3 Goodyear silent armors to go with it and put them all on the regular wheels? If its the original spare and its 9 years old will it hold up long term? The tire has two creases from being pressed up against the frame for so long but I don't think it would affect anything but you guys might know better. Id rather spend $600 then $800 if I don't have to. What you think?

I'd feel a lot better with 4 cheaper new tires. After 9 years it probably has some dry rot.

What size do you need? Do you have a Sam's or Costco membership?

You could open a Firestone account I did when I needed tires bad when I was traveling I'm paid like 35 bucks a month for new tires.

Do it. Just make it a habit to inspect the tire every few weeks. Don't want a blow out ruining your fender.

My Dad just used his spare in a tire swap just as you suggest. He has a 2000 model year though. The 13 year old tire is fine. No cracks or anything. The spare never sees sunlight and I think that helps.

The Silent Armor is a nice tire too. Had four on my 2005. Great winter traction...best of any truck tire I have used. For a 50k tire they were very worn at 30k though.

Currently have Mastercraft AXT's on my 2011. I paid $750 OTD for four 18". I think they are a nice tire for the price.
