7-lug wheel compatibility

I've got a 97 F250 (light duty) 4wd extended cab that came with those rare 7-lug wheels that I need to replace due to serious rust issues. These are 16" wheels (I believe 16x7) and my truck does not come up in the compatibility tools on any of the Wheel or auto websites I've tried. The closest thing I could find were some listings for a Ford wheel part number 3284 that looked close in size to mine but they are hard to find.

I see Ford has started using 7-lug wheels on some of the newer trucks but in a 17" wheel (I've seen some listed under Ford part number #3558). Does anyone know if these are compatible with my truck. I realize I would need a different tire size (thinking switching from LT245/75R16 to LT245/70R17 would be close to stock size).

Yes, you can use the OEM 17 inch wheels with the 7 lug pattern from the newer F-150's on your truck.
