General grabber AT vs Firestone destination AT?

I currently have the Firestone destinations. I have 41,000 miles on them and they're honestly only half way worn. With the penny test, the tread goes up to Lincoln's eye (penny is upside down). I'm sure I could get 60k out of these, but want to try something new.

What kind of life are you guys getting from the general grabber ATs?

I rotate my tires every oil change, alignment and balance once and year and rarely tow or haul. Tires are always at 40 psi.

Those look good. Though, the destinations and grabbers seem to have a deaper tread depth 13/32 and 16/32 respectively vs the 12/32 the longtrails have.

I'm comparing p255/70/17 by the three brands.

Are you looking for all terrains or highway tires? The comparable BFG to the AT's is the Rugged Terrain. The Long Trails are strictly a highway tire.

I'm looking for AT tires, not highway/all season. My mistake, I guess I figured the ones you listed we're ATs as well because that's what I was posting about (destination AT and grabber AT2). Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

Might just go with a new set of destinations. With the miles I'm getting out of them, I should stick with what's working.

Terragrapplers are a bit aggressive for a 2wd.

That's why I've liked the Firestone destination ATs. They don't look overly aggressive, but they're good in snow and in dry conditions. They're not loud, gas mileage hasn't changed and they wear nicely.

I was mainly curious if the general grabber AT2s would get the same amount of life.

Well, my truck came with Generals from the factory - I bought it with 55k on it and they had some tread left, but they were absolutely awful in the rain. I replaced them with Long Trails and they still have tread with about 85k on them.

I run highway tires because I have real snow tires (Michelin X-Ice) on steel rims too. I got those because when I go out west in the winter, I have to have them or I have to use chains.
