2.5in leveling kit

2.5in leveling kit

I have a 2001 F150 4x4 lariat and I'm looking into the 2.5in rough country leveling kit and I'm wanting 35s I already have 33s on it and they don't rub would a 35 still rub with the leveling kit

Don't do the leveling kit, crank your stock torsion bars for free and get an alignment. Those leveling kits will make alignments next to impossible and destroy your ball joints, tie rod ends, and cv axles.

If you have stock wheels you can stuff a narrow 35 in there. Like something that measures out to around 35x10.50ish on the manufacturers specs, not sidewall number. But depending how aggressive the tread is you may have to do some trimming and deal with some rubbing on the upper control arm or frame at full lock.

Pizzaman is the resident suspension guru, so all of that is accurate. This info is true and accurate for any similar 4X4 F150. Any of his posts regarding any suspension-related questions will work for all F150s that are comparable to those being discussed.

Stock wheels will allow for the biggest tire. Any change in rim width or backspacing will alter what you can fit.
