I just installed a procomp lift kit on my 2012 f150 and it says i cant use my stock wheels with this lift kit. I have aftermarket wheels and tires but i want to run my stock ones in the winter. is the reason i cant run my wheels because it is going to hit something or what? Would wheel spacers work if i installed those?

I believe the problem is the Pro Comp knuckles. If I remember correctly, the wheels will fit with stock size tires, but the issue is when you mounted wider sized tires on them the tires will rub the knuckles.

 

I have my stock tires and wheels off right now because it says the stock wheels will not work with this lift kit. Im running aftermarket rims and tires on it right now and i have no problems. I was just wondering why i cant run my stock wheels with the lift. I was thinking the reason was the stock wheels stick in to far and it hits the knuckle but im not sure
