2008 STX - Need tire size help!

So I bought a used 2008 2wd STX about a year ago and have been slowly upgrading pieces of it as I can afford. New exhaust, 3" front lift, bull guard, etc.

Truck has been decent so far. Drives nice, like how it looks... EXCEPT...

Biggest problem I'm running into is figuring out the best tire size to put on this thing.

Right now it's using 265/65/17 and they look puny for this size and length truck. I understand the diameter is around 30.6 inches.

As I said, 3 inch front lift (nothing in back).

Every other truck that drives by me I look at it and I'm like, now THAT has decent sized tires on it, not too big like a circus car and not too small like feels like my "delivery Truck" size tires.

Help. I don't want to do any more height adjustments if I can help it. But the wheel wells definitely need something bigger. Not necessarily wider, but taller (larger diameter).

I'd go with a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or a 305/65-17 (33x12.50). Also, I'd replace the 3 inch lift with a 2.5 inch kit. The 3 inch kits leave the ball joints at too severe of an angle to last.
