to downsize to smaller tires or no...?

Alright fellas really need some input here. It's the classic aesthetics vs. realistic debate...I'm highly debating picking up a set of 275/70/18 Goodyear Duratracs with 95% tread left tomorrow and ditching my 34" Trail Grapplers...I love my Trail's but part of me wants some mpg's and power back that I lost...The price on the Duratrac's is a steal too...thoughts/input? am I crazy?

You're not crazy. And you're likely not 18 anymore either. Do what you want. No one is gonna judge you dude.

What's the actual size of the 34's? The 275/70/18's are still 33.16" so you're looking at less than an inch! And duratracs are way more aggressive looking, so I think it's an upgrade!

the 34's are a 295/70/18 so yeah I'd be giving up an inch is all. The Trail's are actually a more aggressive looking tire and sidewall but the duratracs look great also.
Biggest thing is the duratracs are about 15 lbs. less per tire vs. the nittos...

Sorry I thought they were Terra grapps, not Trails! But I still love the look of the Duratracs. I definitely say go for it
