brakes

Hi
I have a 99 supercab 4 wheeldrive, I had the
rotors turned and the brakes changed at 20000
miles. Now at 30000 miles rotors need turned
again. Is this normal or should I get better live
out of the brakes and rotors?
At first I thought it was the fact that my wife
was making short trips and now I drive it running
75 miles one way twice a week.

I got 50000 from the original rotors/brakes, but I do alot of HWY driving. The rotors were warped when I changed them. I put a set of power slot rotors on and so far they are good. I have 10k on them.
