Just bought a set of 17x9 MotoMetal 951s.. can i fit 34/45's

sorry typo in the thread title.. meant to say 34's or 35's not 45s.

Ok so i ended up going with the 17x9 MM 951's in black and the -12 offset becuse later down the road she will be lifted and ill want that stance. should get them in a few days. Ill be runnign them with my current tires that came with the truck which are 285/70/17 BFG AT KO's.

I only have a 2" levelling kit on there right now i think from the previous owner, im just curious if i upgrade to a 2.5" spacer will i be able to stuff some 35's under there or will they rub.

I hear certain tires dont even measure out to 35" anyway aka the goodyear duratracs. Has anyone with -12 offset experience been able to fit some 34/35's under there or do they rub alot with that negative offset, im aware ill have to trim a bit and im not concerned about that just want them to fit without too many problems!

thanks

I had 315x70x17 BFG TA/KO's on 17x9 wheels with 0 degree offset, 5 inches of BS on my '04 Lariat that was leveled 2 1/2 inches. I had some minor rubbing when making hard turn's even after trimming. They would rub on the lower wheelwell's...not real bad but aggravating after 4k miles. Ended up using a 295x70x17 tire on these wheel's which were a much better fit. The 315x70x17 BFG's ended up on 17x8 wheel's with stock +25 or 5.5 inch backspacing and cleared with no rubbing.Top picture is the 315's on the 17x9 wheel's that rubbed...mid picture is the 295x70x17's that cleared with the 17x9 wheel's easily...bottom picture is the 315's on the 17x8 wheel's that cleared with no rubbing. Hope these pics give you a better idea of what will fit and what will give problem's.
