Shipping Tires?

Anybody have tips or anything on shipping truck tires? Have 33" General tires I'm selling and might need to ship. Anyone ever shipped big tires?

I'm thinking you have two choices 1: Plastic wrap them to a pallet and take them to a local shipping co. or 2: Individually label and ship each one by UPS..if was me I'd go with #2

You don't have to wrap them in anything. Just go to UPS they'll print labels and stick them on. It will be expensive, those tires probably weight between 60-70lbs.

Yea, thats the issue. Cost. Was wondering if anyone knew of a "cheap" way. They're 66 pounds a piece. Thinking I'm just going to have to sell them locally otherwise wont make much off of them. :\

Local is best, it is rare you find a buyer who will pay shipping unless you seriously cut the cost of the tire.
