For those with LT275/65R20 (34") tires

Are you happy you went with the heavier/more robust LT tire over the stock P-rated tire? How much of a hit did the heavier/larger LT tires affect your gas mileage over the stock P-rated 32" tires?

I plan to do some off-road driving on "fire roads" here in Colorado. I'm debating to go with the 34" LT tire, or to go with a 33" All-Terrain P-rated tire.

One thing I can guarantee, those LT tires will hold up far better than the p series when going off road. Yes you will lose some mileage, but you will also lose due to going from 32" to 33" or 34" whether you go with p series or not. The LT will also give you better handling on road as you will not lean as much in turns etc.
