torque specs

torque specs

new here lookin everywhere for torque specs for 05 f250 front and rear pinion nuts also axle retainer nuts. asked dealership twice now they said they would get back to me. because we are remote they try suck whatever little we have . they dont like when we do our own work either. any help would be appreciated

not even sure if this is the right place to look. if its been in a sticky somewhere else could someone point it out

There is no torque spec when a crush sleeve is used.You tighten the nut until you reach the correct preload on the bearings.The preload is checked by turning the pinion w/an analog in./lbs. torque wrench.There's a little more to it,but that's the short version......

It sometimes pays to get a service manual for your truck.....it will go into details more specifically ....
