Question Rotor questions.

I checked my rotors for the stamped thickness but I didn't see anything and can't find it online, does anyone know the cutoff width for replacing them? I've done all the control arms and tie rods, now it's time for brakes. I just want to know what to look for in the thickness to see if they need to be replaced or not.

I don't know what the thickness would be for your rotors but there are a couple things you should look at to determine if its time to replace the rotors. For starters, do your rotors have a blue tint? Are they still smooth or do they have grooves in them? These two things may indicate that your rotors got too hot and the material properties may have change. Whether that increased or decrease your brake coefficient is hard to tell but they wont be the same as after you burnished your pads. Looking at your pads for any pitting or deterioration is also an indicator of overheating your linings/ rotors.
