Hi, i'm new to the forum here and i just got a simple question about tires. I gotta 97 f150 and i just ordered a level kit for it, 2wd by the way. but i've been looking on the internet and i read a lot of the stuff posted on the website and finally just decided to sign up for it. but my question is what is the big difference between these tires except only the inch in height? After looking up stuff going from a 235 70 16 to any bigger size will give me a power loss...i have the 3.55 gears so would it really be that big of a difference? also in price there is a big difference too, is 30 bucks more per tire worth paying for the extra half inch lift of a 265 75. thanks

 

Check my profile, keep in mind I'm a 4wd, but I really didn't see much of a lift. It originally had 245-70x16.
