I am currently Running **** Cepek Mountain Cats LT285/70/R17. I love them but the time has come to replace them. I was wondering if anyone would suggest something different. I am kinda new to the whole tire thing and it is kind of over whelming lol. I am told I can fit 305s max on these rims. These tires will be going on 02 F-150 Fx4 5.4L

Take a look at the Kelly Safari TSR. I am running them on my Expd, in a 285 and love them. I was a little skeptical of the tread pattern especially in the rain. However they have plenty of siping and had performed flawlessly in all conditions, including rain and over 8" of snow. Currently at 35K miles with at least another 20K to go. Noise wise they are quitere than the BFG ATs I had on my F150. I will be buying again. If you want something less agressive, check out the Firestone Destination AT. I had a set size, and they did a good job, onther than wearing a little fast due to being P metric, vs LT.

I will certianly look into those, Where do you guys get your tires? I was considering ordering online but was a little skeptical am I better off sticking with a place like discount tires?
