Not exactly what you were expecting, but I wanted to post this here because it's were most of my posts have been over the past decade or so. So anyway, technically I did get new wheels. They are OEM Dodge 17x8's, and they came stock on my new Ram 2500! I was trying to decide between a new Ford and a new Dodge and it came down to dealerships. Our local Ford dealership closed it's doors shortly after we bought our 2005 Expy and we have a great Jeep/Chrystler/Dodge dealership. So after shopping, I found a good deal on a demo 2012 Ram 2500 Cummins.

Nice!! Can't go wrong with a Cummins, plus no need to worry about DEF like you would with a Ford. Any plans for it??

Well, the dealer is supposed to install a 5 inch RCX lift Tuesday. I also have a set of black/machined 20 inch KMC XD Spy's and 37 inch Terra Grapplers on the way. I was gonna go with a completely black wheel, but with the amount of chrome on the Ram, I thought I needed more of a black/silver combo.

I love the new dodges interiors are awesome and best exterior of all the brands.

Did you trade your truck or Expy in on it?

 

Nice truck and I can't wait to see it with the lift and new tires on! I figured you had something planned for it soon cause them tires on it right now look tiny in those big fender wells.

 

Yeah, it's crazy that Dodge puts 31 inch tires on the Ram 2500 and 3500 but you can get 33's on the Ram 1500.
And yes, we traded the Expy in on it. My wife is still made about that!
I love the Cummins so far! The torque is incredible!!

What made you go with the RCX lift over Zone?

 

Congrat's on the new truck. Cummins has always made great engines and the truck ought to look great lifted with the new wheel's and tires. Please keep us posted on the truck's progress.
