As I have read in the forums the '07' and '08 models have the band type tpms and the '09's and up have the valve stem type sensors. Correct?

Reason why I ask is that I like the looks of the 20" Lariat wheels from '07 & '08 and want to put them om my '11 FX4. So if I switch to the new TPMS I "shouldn't" have a problem?

 

Shouldn't unless the sensors don't fit the older 20's

I've always liked the 08 20's as well.

Out of interest, do you have the 18" FX4 rim's?

Am sure someone could photoshop the rims around to give you an idea.

 

Yes I do have the 2011 18" FX4 wheels.

And if someone could photoshop the older 20's onto the newer style F150 I'd appreciate it.
