backspacing and offset question

backspacing and offset question

I'm planning on getting nitro trail grapplers 35/12.5/20 with 20 inch fuel hostages with 5.5 backspacing doesn't say what offset is does this matter and does anyone know how far they will stick out past fenders I what to get bushwacker fender flares and not sure to go with 2.25 or 1.5 inch flares thx in advance

Backspacing and offset are two different roads to the same destination; two different methods of measuring the exact same thing. If you have one, you don't need the other unless you're just more familiar with one over the other. Most around here use backspacing since it's in inches and wheels are measured in inches. Personal preference really. And don't feel bad about dropping a period or something in ther next time

Right. And to answer your question, we have to know the width of the Fuels. If they are 9 inches wide they will stick out 1.5 inches farther than your OEM wheels, if they are 10 they will stick out 2.5 inches farther than stock.

They r gonna be 9 inches thx so much this is the first trk I have done mods too and everyone on here has been a great help thx again
