Cool 35inch tire fitment

Ok here is the deal. I want new tires really bad!!!!!!!! My current tires are 305/70r16or 33x12.50r16 and they look way to small! My truck is a 2wd and has the following lifts on it; 3.5inch fabtech spindle lift, 3inch body lift, and 1.5-2.0 inch coil spacers. So thats 8.0-8.5 inches of total lift right. Ok i know that there are lots of you guys that have 6inch fabtech or RCD lifts and are running 35s no prob. So what is the biggest lift that i can fit on my truck since i have 2-2.5 inches more lift that they do.. what about 36x12.50s or 35x14.50s or maybe even 36x14.50s

please help me out guys
thanks

Well i see on your wishlist you want 36x12.50 swampers...why not just go with those? You might want to try a test fit at a tire shop first. But i really like the way the 14.5 inch wide tires look too...they really stand out and arent too wide, plus they make your truck look really big (based on the aristotle equation big tires=big look). I would consider those...the 34x14.5 Baja Belteds are actually taller (and naturally wider) than my 315/75R16 yoko. geolander m/ts...they really look a lot bigger and i'm goin with them next time- plus, they look damn good. But only in the 14.5 width...too much skinnier and the tread looks gay, well IMO. So, i guess what i am saying is look into the 36" swampers that you say you like, or look into those 34x14.5 belteds...trust me, they look much bigger than 34", more like 35x14.5 at least, and they will set your ride off...!
Hope this helps...

would 34x14s fit on my current wheels? or would i have to get new ones ( i have 16x8s)... what are your opinions on the tsl raidails??????? or maybe i should just stick with some 35x12.50 procomp muds....... or how about the 35x12.50 Baja Claw Radial??

Well, i'm not exactly sure what they recommend but you probably should have 10-12" rims for the 14.5" wide tires. Personally, i love the swampers- well actually the way they look and perform...thats about it. Truth is, they ride like crap (even the radial) and they wear like crap. Oh and they are loud. They didn't rank that far ahead of the ProComp m/t in the mud test by four wheel drive mag....so i'd say go with the 35x12.5x16 procomps...hope this helps

14.50's are gonna be too wide, they are gonna rub bad. And I am tellin you right now JD, you better change your gears right now. My buddy Jakd UP has the 7.5 lift, with a 3" body and is runnin 36/14.50, and the tires rub, along with no power anymore whatsoever. If you just have to do 36's, I suggest keepin it 12.50's or goin with 35's. You may just ignore me, but atleast listen, I know what I am talkin about. I am around all the guys daily that have lifts, and stuff.

Here is his truck (99 F150, 4.2 5 speed, 4x2)

There ya go. He's just a tad bigger than your truck, and those tires rub really bad, bad enough to keepin rubbin the valence to mess it up, and the inner well. I don't want you messin up your truck, if I was you, I would go with 35/12.50's, but hey, that's me. If you must go with 36's, please change those gears very soon, or you are gonna hate driving, and stay away from 14.50's.

Good luck, I sure do like your truck, just don't want you to mess something up.

Ok, mudder's right on the power issue. I didnt realize you had a 6...my friend had stock gears and 36x14.5 and he had the 5.4 and he lugged around everywhere. I would trust mudder's opinion on fit, i really dont know about that on a truck like yours with your lift. I was just guessing...so he might be right there...but the power issue should be a big concern...that extra two inches of width is a lot more weight to lug around than most ppl think...and then woh! All of a sudden youre running 0-60s in the high 20s to low 30s! And you think i'm jokin! So i'd have to say go with the 35x12.50 procomp m/t...its a relatively cheap tire, wears great, rides great, looks great, performs great...you just can't beat all those...anywayz, hope this helps...
