Staggered Rims Anyone?
Staggered Rims Anyone?
Anyone here have staggered rims on their F150's? Seems as though not many around are rolling on these anymore.
I looked through about 10 pages here in the wheel section. Also the street scene section seems to be mostly 20"+ sized rims.
If you are rocking some nice staggered rims post some pics up please. Im looking for ideas.
Thanks

Use this: https://www.f150online.com/forums/search.php , plug in 'staggered rims'. You'll get hits.
Simply looking through pages is futile, useless and a waste of time.
That feature - which, sadly, is more and more overlooked as we acquire Millennial Majority Membership (MMM), has been around basically forever.
BTW - what's the purpose? You trying to induce oversteer on a chronically (and by design) understeering platform?

I like the way staggered rims look, and was considering a set for my truck to replace the stocks. Does there need to be a purpose? I see no purpose of a truck sitting on the ground with 26" wheels tucked up in the fenders, but to each their own.
I used the Advanced search and here are a couple of threads it brought up.

The Saleens were staggered.

Well the general consensus in the one thread at least, is that it would look like crap? Haha. Im not of that opinion though. It seems these days everyone is running rims on everything almost.
10 years ago i had a civic with 17's on it. While that was cool for me then i want something different now. The front of the old beast when viewed head on appears ok to me as far as wheel width... the rear though when viewed from directly behind gives the appearance of pizza cutters. That i dont like, so while im trying not to change the overall circumference of the tires, i would like the appearance of more meat out back, as the fenders on the old girl seem to overhang the tires more at the back.
