New to the site. I have a 1995 F-350 crew cab long bed 2 WD gas with a 3 in body lift I put on. The tires on the truck are 265/75/R16 ( they measure about 30.5 inches from ground to top. I just bought some rims that are 75/R16 the same size as what's on the truck. I had to get 1/2 in spacers for the back wheels for the rims to fit. (The center cap was hitting). I want to go with a bigger tire - semi mud look. i was thinking about a 315/75/R16. I see a lot of 285/75/r16. The 285's say they are 32.76 inches. That's only 2.25 inches taller than what I have. The 295/75/r16 are 33.27 inches. It says the 315's measure like 34.49 (I've measured them on actual trucks and they are like 33.25. I only drive the truck on the weekends - about the only thing I may haul is my boat. - at 11 miles/gal I don't drive that much. Any thoughts would be helpful.
