Rear Brake line size, and fitting?

Just replaced rear section of 3/16" brake line on '99 F150, but found at the coupling (under cab), that the line transitions from standard double flare to a metric bubble fitting. Is the steel line still 3/16", and just metric fitting? Also, there's a weird fitting at the RABS unit (below master cylinder).
I've done plenty of standard brake lines on older cars, this is a first for me.
Anyone change the steel lines on a '99 (or, 97-03)? I may have to splice in to the old piece at the RABS unit (guess that's correct, rear antilock unit).
Thanks.
